In October 2021 the Citrus County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) decided to move Emergency Medical Services away from the corporation Nature Coast EMS. Since then, Citrus County Fire Rescue has integrated a new EMS Division with Jason Morgan as their Division Chief.
Come learn what happens if you call 911 with a medical emergency – you might see a fire truck with Advanced Life Saving capabilities respond, or you might get an ambulance. What’s the difference in capabilities and response times? Jason has the answers.
