Bats in My Florida Backyard:

Bats are the primary predators of night-flying insects, including those bugs that love to bug us!
Join the Florida Bat Conservancy for a colorful introduction to the bats that fly through Florida’s yards and communities every night. Learn fascinating bat facts and discover the environmental and economic value of these important mammals.
And finally, we will discuss simple steps anyone can take to encourage bat activity in their neighborhood!

The Pine Ridge Bluebird Trail:

Brinda and other Pine Ridge residents monitor and manage the bluebird nesting boxes you’ve likely seen in DRAs and other open areas in Pine Ridge. She’ll show us some of their work and discuss ideal nesting box placement to attract these beautiful birds.
